Yes: at Hotel Regina, late check-out is available until 2 p.m., on request and at no extra cost. All you need to do is let us know the day before or when you check in, and we’ll sort everything out for you.

Does the “Royal Stay” package include admission to the Royal Palace of Caserta?

Yes: the “Royal Stay” package, Hotel Regina’s flagship offer, includes an overnight stay in a Comfort room, breakfast with homemade pastries, and an admission ticket to the Royal Palace of Caserta to visit the royal apartments and the Royal Park. Prices start at €64.00 per room per day.

How far is Hotel Regina from the Royal Palace of Caserta?

Hotel Regina is just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Palace of Caserta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can get there on foot, by bike, or on one of our tandems or rickshaws, without having to use your car.

Is there a car park at Hotel Regina?

Yes: parking is free, no booking is required, and spaces are always available for the duration of your stay. Once you’ve parked your car, you forget all about it: Via Nazionale Appia 34 is the starting point for everything Caserta has to offer.

Does Hotel Regina offer a transfer service from Caserta station?

Hotel Regina has 6 types of rooms: Small (12m²), Comfort (14m²), Deluxe (21m², with sofa bed), King (23m²), Junior Suite (22m²), a round room in the tower with a round bed and a hydro-massage shower with waterfall), and Family Room (32m², for up to 5 people). All of them feature motifs reminiscent of the frescoed ceilings of the Royal Palace of Caserta.

How does breakfast work at Hotel Regina?

Breakfast at Hotel Regina is served every morning and features homemade cakes, including carrot cake, coffee cake, and Aversa-style Polish cake, amongst others. Espresso is made using freshly ground beans, never with automatic machines. Cannoli are also served at the table, filled right in front of you, and every morning the chef brings you a hot dish prepared especially for you.

Is the restaurant at Hotel Regina open for lunch?

The restaurant is always open for dinner. Lunch is available by reservation only: please contact us in advance on +39 0823 467966 or via WhatsApp, and we’ll get everything ready for you.

Is half board available?

What is there to visit near Hotel Regina?

Just a short walk from Hotel Regina, you’ll find the Royal Palace of Caserta, with its royal apartments and the Royal Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A little further on are the San Leucio Silk Factory (a Royal Bourbon Colony founded in 1778, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Caserta Vecchia (a medieval village on a hill), and the Amphitheatre of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, one of the largest from the Roman era. How far is Naples from Hotel Regina?

Naples is easily accessible from Hotel Regina by train from the nearby Caserta station, or by car without having to drive through the city centre. It’s also the ideal base for day trips to Pompeii, Salerno, and the Amalfi Coast.

How do you get to Capri, Ischia, and Procida from Caserta?

The islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida can be reached by hydrofoil from the port of Naples, which is about half an hour by train from Caserta station: Procida is the closest, with a crossing time of around 40 minutes – even shorter if you set off from Pozzuoli – while Capri and Ischia take an average of 50 minutes by hydrofoil. Procida was the Italian Capital of Culture in 2022: if you haven’t visited it yet, it’s well worth a trip.
